Just wanted to thank Gary and Brandon for the excellent work they did on removing and rebuilding a brick wall that had cracked due to foundation problems.  They were very professional and they take pride in their work.  Their estimate was fair and reasonable.  We will definitely contact Ceresville Masonry in the future for any work that we may need on our house.

Window Flashing Installation

"​The window on the third floor of my house had water leaking onto the wallpaper surrounding the window.  After a new window was installed, each time it rained, water continued to seep in.  It was suggested I have a mason look at the exterior brickwork.  Studying a few reviews of Frederick masonry companies, I decided on Gary Hudak of Ceresville Masonry.  Thank goodness, I did.
 
Gary came to the house and, within a few minutes of looking up at the brickwork on the north side of the house, diagnosed the issue – no flashing under the brickwork above the window.  He came back immediately, tore out the old bricks, took pictures of the holes he had suggested would be found, sent the pictures to me at the office, completely covered the water-damaged area with flashing, and installed new bricks.    I continue to be amazed at how quickly Gary analyzed the problem and how promptly he returned to complete the masterful job.  AND because of a storm that same night, Gary called the next day to make arrangements to come by that very evening to examine his handiwork – “to be sure no water had leaked anywhere”.  I can’t remember interacting with a contractor who cared enough about his work and his customer to make an uncalled-for follow-up.  Talk about “added-value”!
